Evangelist Ivory Nuckolls

Assistant Pastor - Personal Services

Reverend Ivory Jean Nuckolls is a daughter of Apostolic Church of God. She is the third of five generations of her family that serves Christ by serving the Apostolic Church of God. God’s hand upon her has been evident since she was a young teen. Between the beginning of her call and her full time vocational ministry, she achieved many milestones.

She studied at the American Conservatory of Music. She later received her Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling and Therapy and her Master’s Degree in Education, Human Services and Counseling both from DePaul University. Ivory also studied at the Moody Bible Institute. In between those achievements, she married the love of her life, Gerald R. Nuckolls, Jr. more than 53 years ago and they happily serve together in areas of ministry to this day.

Ivory’s response to the call upon her life has made her an indispensable part of the work of the Apostolic Church of God. Since receiving Christ she has faithfully served in numerous capacities both starting and supporting ministries. She has been a leader in music ministry, youth ministry, women’s ministry, as well as marriage and pre-marriage ministry. She is a gifted teacher and preacher and continues to lead and serve the Body of Christ as an assistant pastor. She leads the Personal Services Department and Pastoral Care team with both wisdom and compassion. She has gone beyond the walls assisting churches throughout the state and nation. Her obedience to the call of ministry has led to her being an integral part of the International Pentecostal Assemblies of the Word from adviser to the Young People’s Union to Director of Programming and conference coordinator for both the General Assembly and Intercessors Conference.

While her work in the church is extensive and laudable, a demonstration of her passionate love for God and His people is demonstrated in her extensive involvement in the community where she has been the recipient of the Big Hearts for Young Heroes award from La Rabida Children’s Hospital, nominated for the Community Leader of the Year award from the National Council of Negro Women, Inc., a member of Kappa Delta Pi international honor society in education among many other awards.

We celebrate and honor Rev. Ivory Jean Nuckolls as she continues to be a poured out offering for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
